Educating the mind without educating the soul is no education at all - Aristotle

Welcome to Noonan Academy

Noonan Elementary Academy is an independent, Catholic school in Mokena, IL serving preschool through 8th grade. Noonan also offers day care, including nursery.

Noonan provides its students with a rigorous and innovative educational program that is academically challenging and personally supportive. Noonan is committed to developing the full potential of each student by fostering intellectual development, strong character formation and spiritual growth.

Academic excellence begins with tailoring an individual educational plan for each student to assure a strong foundation in learning skills and the core subject areas. Intellectual growth is complemented with classroom and after school programs to develop nutritional awareness, independent study skills and to foster the social, moral, physical and aesthetic development of each student.

Noonan Elementary Academy Mission Statement

Our Academy is dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary, under the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

We are committed to excellence. We are ordinary people who, with God’s help, will accomplish the extraordinary. When parents and school work together reinforcing each other every step of the way, the children will win. We love and respect one another. The child must see us acting in unison and speaking with one voice. We must be family.
